Description
Murder in Mesopotamia: On holiday in Iraq, Poirot visits an ancient site that his good friend Captain Hastings is helping excavate. But what begins as an entertaining diversion becomes a professional puzzle to challenge even Poirot's brilliance when the head archeologist's unpopular wife is killed.Though there is no shortage of suspects, clues are few and misleading, and the local authorities turn to their esteemed guest for help.
Evil Under the Sun: After collapsing during dinner, Poirot is ordered to the resort island of Sandy Cove for a two-week recuperative stay. Subjected to a taxing (and decidedly undignified) regimen of diet and exercise, he is distracted from his plight by growing suspicions that death awaits one of his guests. Poirot's fears are confirmed when the body of Arlena Stewart is discovered on the beach--but who killed her?
